Kaitlin Seidel Memorial Softball Tournament

J.J. Pearce High School Varsity Invitational

Each year the J.J. Pearce Mustang Softball team hosts the Kaitlin Seidel Memorial Softball Tournament. This Tournament is a very special event to remember and honor Kaitlin, a wonderful young woman who played on the Pearce Softball team and brightened many lives. This will be our 6th year to host the tournament.

Kaitlin Seidel Run-A-Thon Fundraiser

This year our Pearce Mustangs are asking for donations for each run that Pearce players score during the Feb. 23-25 tournament. You may make a pledge based on the number of runs or a straight donation. The net proceeds from each tournament (after costs) are placed in the Kaitlin Seidel Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is given each year to a senior softball player with exceptional characteristics to help with her college education. The Lady Mustang Softball booster club is sponsoring the annual Kaitlin Seidel Memorial Softball Tournament for North Texas varsity softball teams. You are invited to attend the tournament the weekend of February 26-28. There are games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Tournament Format / Rules

• Official Rules: UIL Rules will be in effect
• Home team will be decided by coin flip
• Each team must provide their own game balls
• Each game will be 1 ½ hours - drop dead
• Teams must be warmed up and ready to go at game time
• Run Rule: 10 runs after 3 innings
